Traditional way with a machete or cleaver: This method involves using a sharp blade to chop around the circumference of the coconut until it cracks open. Great for a showcasing experience.

Coconut opener tool: Specialized coconut opener tools make it easier to pierce through the shell and access the coconut water and meat. This is an easy, safe, and fast way.

Practical way with a hammer and screwdriver (or cordless drill): By tapping around the equator of the coconut with a hammer and puncturing (or drilling) the nut with a screwdriver, you can either place a straw or drain the coconut water.
